Hey guys!
That time of year is just around the corner. Yep, I'm talking Halloween in August! This is the first year the HARPG Times will be throwing a Halloween party so I want to give everyone time to do something.
The event will be hosted near the woods of Wolf Creek Farm around a massive bonfire. All participants and their horses should be in costume (it wouldn't be a Halloween party if they weren't) and ready to have some fun! At sunset we'll have a costume parade where each horse and handler/rider combination shows off their costumes. Once the moon is up, we'll play a bit of Zombie Horse Tag. At this point costumes can be removed or left on and the party will move to the open fields and thinner parts of the woods. 'Zombies' will have a white bandanna on their horse's bridle. Once tagged by a 'zombie' riders will attach the bandanna. 'Humans' will not have a bandanna. The original 'zombie' will be one of the WCF staff. The last 'Human' left will be crowned the winner!
So, what do you get for participating? The favorite stallion and mare costume of the staff will be the featured horses for the month and the winner of Zombie Horse Tag will be on our cover and be featured in a special spotlight article. In addition, all art will be displayed in the October issue of the Times! Anyone that wants to donate prizes is free to.
Send your entries to the Times via a note. I hope you guys like this idea!
